Privacy policy
This page describes what this instance of Content Moderation stores. If you self-host the project, edit this page to name the operator and a contact address before submitting your Meta app for review.
What is stored
- Your account details, kept by our own sign-in system: user id, name, email and password hash (never the password itself).
- Your security credentials: registered passkeys (public keys only), the secret behind your authenticator-app (TOTP) code and your backup codes (both stored encrypted), and your active sessions, each with the IP address and browser (user agent) it was started from.
- For each connected Instagram professional account: its id, username, profile picture URL and an access token.
- Comments received on your posts after you connect the account, and the moderation result for each.
How it is used
Comment text is sent to Mistral AI's moderation API to be classified. Comments that cross the thresholds you configure are hidden on Instagram on your behalf. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.
Analytics
Usage metrics and error reports are sent to PostHog (EU Cloud, hosted in the EU) through this site's own domain. They contain your user id, page views, actions such as connecting an account or changing a setting, and moderation outcomes (status and categories). They never contain comment text or access tokens.
Deleting your data
Removing the app from your Instagram account settings deletes the account, its token and its stored comments. Deleting your user account deletes everything associated with it.
